John Henry

Areas of Practice
John Henry's areas of particular expertise include will drafting, estate administration, and the creation and variation of private and charitable trusts. He also has extensive experience in conveyancing and property (both Transfer of Land Act and General Law). He has experience in public and private constitutional drafting and interpretation including legislation and companies limited by guarantee.
John is accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a Specialist in Wills & Estates, and is also a Notary Public.
Biography
During his career he has been a partner in the legal firms of Turner Ness & Davis, Sly & Weigall and since 1988, Tolhurst Druce & Emmerson.
He is a former Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve and holds the Reserve Forces Decoration.
He is married with four children and is a longstanding member of Melbourne University Boat Club as a cox of veteran crews. Out of hours, when not busy on the river, he can be found in his prolific vegetable garden.
